COVID-19 Procedures

For 2022 Resident Programs at Saint Anselm College

The following information is provided based on our current knowledge of CDC, State of New Hampshire and Saint Anselm College procedures and guidelines. These procedures are subject to change and most likely will change in some way. Updated guidelines will be provided to registrants as needed.

1) Pre-Arrival Exposure / Quarantine  –

For the two weeks before arrival at Saint Anselm, we ask that all athletes be especially cautious about minimizing their risk of exposure to COVID-19. We realize that July 4th is in this timeframe and ask that they err on the side of safety during this period for the good of themselves, teammates and others in the program. Low-risk behavior will be a prerequisite for participation.

2) Pre-Arrival Testing –

Currently there is no testing requirement for fully vaccinated athletes. It is recommended that boosters be taken in line with CDC, State of New Hampshire and Saint Anselm College guidelines. If athletes are not fully vaccinated, there may be a requirement for pre-arrival testing.

3) Residential Arrangements –

It is expected that athletes will be assigned dormitory rooms with a roommate. If an athlete desires an individual room, we will attempt to meet this request which may be provided with an additional fee.

4) PPE –

a. Athletes should bring at least eight (8) masks which secure around the nose, chin, and mouth. At this time, we do not know what CDC, State of New Hampshire and Saint Anselm College procedures and guidelines will be in July, but there may be a mask requirement in some settings.

b. TTD also reserves the option to take temperatures as needed.

c. Locker room policies will be defined by Saint Anselm College.

5) Meals –

a. Seating in the dining facility has been structured based on CDC, State of New Hampshire and Saint Anselm College procedures and guidelines.

b. There will be outdoor locations provided where meals can be consumed.

c. It is expected that at some meals (especially lunch) there will be athletes from other summer camps utilizing the dining facility at Saint Anselm. As such, athletes will need to be aware of their time window for meals to ensure dining facility capacity limitations are maintained.

d. We are expecting that a full dining hall menu will be available at Saint Anselm.

6) Symptomatic / Positive Test During Program –

a. Upon experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, the athlete will immediately be isolated in their room with meals being brought to them.

b. As soon as possible, the athlete will be taken to a local testing center.  If there is a testing fee, that fee will be the responsibility of the athlete to pay.  An Urgent Care facility is 5 minutes away from campus: https://ccmdcenters.com/coronavirus2019

c. Prior to the start of the program, each family will need to provide an Emergency Departure Plan for the athlete to be taken from Saint Anselm should they test positive.

d. It is our hope that the prior program low-risk behavior discussed above significantly reduces the probability of contraction of COVID-19.

7) Refund / disaster policy –

If a player becomes symptomatic or tests positive before their program start date affecting their participation, they must submit documentation showing the positive test result. If so, the family will receive a refund of their payments less a $195 COVID Management Fee to cover costs incurred for their planned participation.
