Pre-Season Resident Programs


The TTD "Pre-Season" Program helps team coaches begin team development prior to the actual start of the season during the school year. While the elements of the Pre-Season Program are similar to the TTD Premium Summer Experience, this program is specifically oriented to support team coaches in the early development of their team.

Program Objectives

  • To integrate new team members.
  • To enhance relationships of all team members.
  • To focus team members on team needs and goals for the coming season.
  • To evolve team culture with support from TTD Sport Psychologist.
  • To develop individual athlete skills through focused sessions aimed at improvement, not being scouted.
  • To develop team-based skills through on-field training and scrimmages.
  • To support athletes off-field with a program that highlights stretching, nutrition and recovery provided by NCAA strength and conditioning coach.
  • To expand all team members' understanding of leadership opportunities beyond team captain role to enhance, motivate and support the team.

Our Facilities


Our 2020 Girls Soccer program will take place on the campus of the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Massachusetts. The ice rink, dining facility and dormitory facilities on these campuses are all a short walk from one another.

If athletes drive a personal vehicle to camp, upon parking vehicle in designated area keys will be surrendered and returned at the completion of camp.

Athletes who have travel arrangements that place them at the college one night early for their program can utilize dorm facilities for an additional fee of $60. Must be arranged in advance.

10:00 to 10:45 AM: Arrive & Register
11:15 to 11:45 AM: Kick-off Meeting
Noon to 1:00 PM: Lunch
1:15 to 4:30 PM: Afternoon Activities
  • On-Field Skills Training, 1.5 Hours and
  • Agility, Speed and Conditioning, 1.5 Hours or
  • Team Building Development, 1.5 Hours
5:00 to 6:00 PM: Dinner
6:30 to 8:00 PM: Evening Activity:
  On-Field Round Robin Games
8:30 PM to 10:00 PM: Team Captain-Directed Activity/Discussion
10:30 PM: Lights Out

Days 2/3, August 13 & 14

7:15 AM: Wake
7:30 to 8:30 AM: Breakfast
8:45 to Noon: Morning Activities
  • On-Field Skills Training, 1.5 Hours and
  • Agility, Speed and Conditioning, 1.5 Hours or
  • Team Building Development, 1.5 Hours.
Noon to 1:00 PM: Lunch
1:15 to 4:30 PM: Afternoon Activities
  • Technical Skills Training, 1.5 Hours and
  • Agility, Speed and Conditioning, 1.5 Hours or
